Rotary Tri-Lobe Blowers

BLOWER DIVISION

These are positive displacement Tri Lobe Compressors(roots type blower) suitable for a wide range of operating speeds to meet the exact capacity requirements of the applications. They can be offered for pressure duty up to 12.000 mmwg and vacuum duty up to 6.000 mmwg. Two stage machines can be offered for pressure up to 22,000 mmwg. These machines can be used for compression or boosting of vacuum gases

The working chamber consists of two Parallel cylindrical bores containing star-shaped impellers each with two lobes which counter-rotate without touching with each other, or casing Heavy-duty gears to ensure that a correct clearance is maintained between the impellers. The working chamber requires no lubrication hence the medium handled does not get contaminated with oil.

These machines are manufactured in our modern works at Vatva in Ahmedabad & tested as per BS 1571-Part II March 1975.

Special Features

USHA Roots Type Rotary Blower are heavy duty units designed with integral profile. The head plates, Gear Cover, Drive End Cover & Rigid, one piece casting of gray iron. Carburized & ground alloy steel helical timing gear are mounted on the shafts, secured with locknut. Cylindrical, Spherical as well as Ball Bearing are used as per load requirement.

These heavy-duty units are designed for continuous service, with a special arrangement to prevent the rapid back flow of air in to the blower from the discharge area. This design reduce noise, pulsation and horsepower level over conventional blowers, The Tri-lobe Impure profile ensures maximum volumetric efficiency with minimum power absorption.

All units come equipped with rugged steel mounting feet to permit in field adaptability to either vertical or horizontal installation requirements. All Usha blowers units may operate under either vacuum or pressure application with no equipments modification. All UT Series are available with special seals & material in concurrence with nature of gas to be handled.
